Hapitan Cafe, the bikers stopover at Makilala, North Cotabato

There is a tambayan here in the town of Makilala in North Cotabato where I often meet some local cyclists. Located just along the highway to Mlang town in the same province. Every morning after long rides cyclists gather in this small resto cafe not only to relax but to hang out and eat breakfast. This small house serves some local dishes such as puto maya (rice cake) sikwate (homade hot chocolate) and fresh milk.


The Makilala Mlang route is one of the best routes for bikers because you can experience some elevated curved roads, straight highways where you can go around some towns from Makilala, Mlang, then go around Kidapawan City and back. Get to know. So if you are interested in cycling, one of the places you can visit is the town of Makilala.

The Sinulog Festival

 he Sinulog  Festival, one of the most prestigious festivals celebrated in Cebu every January and the grandest of all festivals in the Philippines attended by millions of people each year in commemoration of religious history and honor to Patron of Cebu City, Santo Niño; a statue of baby Jesus as a special presentation by the Portuguese-born Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan to Rajah Humabon of Cebu in late 1521.  This millennium history became an organized celebration when the first Sinulog Parade was held in 1980, then, later on, it was adopted as the grandest festival.

The Binalbal Festival is celebrated every first of January in Tudela, Misamis Occidental in the Philippines.
