  • Humilog Cave

Humilog Cave is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, making it the perfect place for nature lovers. Inside the caves, visitors can see bats and other creatures that call the cave system home.  It is located in Humilog village about 8 km from the city centre. The cave is known for its natural rock formations, underground rivers, and beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.

  • Mt. Hilong-Hilong

Mountain Climbing is one of the sports activities that the Province of Agusan del Norte has given interest to development. If you're certainly considered one among folks that like mountain climbing, then Mount Hilong-hilong is the area you'll actually need to go to.

Mount Hilung-hilong is the best mountain top withinside the whole province of Agusan del Norte and this will be visible withinside the Municipality of RT Romualdez and Cabadbaran, It is 2,012 meters above the ocean level. It has seven big waterfalls, blanketed with white flowing massive anthuriums. It has additional seven caves. It is the habitat of the very famous Philippine Eagle, Philippine Wild Cat, Flying Squirrel, and Tarsier. According to German Botanist, Circular 1920, the smallest flower is visible and most effective on this mountain.

The trek to the height is a completely tough one. The simplest trek to the height is thru Malvar Trail located in Barangay San Antonio of RT Romualdez inside three days to the height and 1day going returned to the barangay proper. Mt. Hilong-hilong is the tallest top withinside the Caraga Region.


  • Remedy T Romualdez Ecopark 

Remedios T. Romualdez Ecopark is the perfect place for nature lovers. It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and has several trails for hiking and exploration. The park also offers great views of the surrounding countryside. 


  • Remedy T Romualdez Museum

The Remedios T. Romualdez Museum showcases the history and culture of the community. Contains artifacts, photographs, and documents depicting the lives of the people of Remedios T. Romualdez. 

  • Titicun Lagoon

The Titicun Lagoon is a natural pool of crystal-clear water perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Surrounded by lush vegetation,  it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. 


  • Anahaw Beach 

Anahoe Beach is a pristine stretch of white powdery sand and crystal clear waters. A great place to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the beauty of nature. 

  • Talisay Beach

Talisay Beach is another of Remedios T. Romualdez's beautiful beaches. It has crystal clear water and long stretches of white sandy beach. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the beach. 


  • Barangay Shrine Museum

The Barangay Shrine Museum in nearby Butuan City houses replicas of ancient barangay boats. A barangay was a type of boat used by early Filipinos for trade and travel. The museum also contains artifacts and exhibits related to Philippine history and culture. City Festival - The City Festival is celebrated annually on November 22nd  in honor of the city's patron saint, Saint Cecilia. It's a big festival that includes street dancing, beauty pageants, and various cultural shows. 

  • Church of San Vicente Ferrer

The Church of San Vicente Ferrer is a historic church located in Remedios T. Romualdes built in the early 1900s, it has a beautiful façade and interior. Dumadag Waterfall - Dumadag Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located in the nearby community of Jabonga. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it is the perfect place for swimming and relaxing. 


HOW TO GET THERE

There are several ways to get to RTR depending on your starting point:


By Air:

The nearest airport is the Butuan City Airport. From there, you can hire a private vehicle or take a public bus or van to RTR.


By Land:

RTR is accessible by land transportation from major cities in Mindanao. Buses and vans regularly ply the route from Butuan City to RTR, with travel time taking around 1-2 hours. Alternatively, you can also take a bus or van from other cities like Cagayan de Oro or Davao City.


By Sea:

There are also passenger ferries that operate between Butuan City and nearby cities like Cebu and Manila. From the port in Butuan City, you can take a bus or van to RTR.


Once you arrive at RTR, you can hire a tricycle or habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to get to the different tourist attractions in the area, including Humilog Cave and Tagnote Falls.
