Getting There

From there, hire vans to Catbalogan City, a journey that takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Tacloban and 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Calbayog.

Once in Catbalogan, head to Pier 1 and catch a mid-morning boat to Zumarraga. While there are no afternoon trips available, private boat arrangements can be made for those who wish to explore the town at their own pace. Accommodation options include Balay ni Luis, a lodging facility built for tourism purposes, or homestays with local families who are eager to share their hospitality with visitors.
