Camiguin | Morning grind at the White Island

Situated in the Northern Island of Mindanao, Camiguin is considered the second smallest province in the Philippines. Camiguin Island has seven (7) volcanos in total including the famous Mt.  Bongao Peak or famously known as "Bud Bongao" is a Historical landmark in the province that stands tall to welcome visitors. Bongao is located in the Island group of Tawi-Tawi Province under the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) believed to be the safest place in the region.

Bongao peak has by approximately 314 meters above sea level and is considered as the highest peak in the province that dominates by its landscape.

Panataran Temple Compound in Blitar Regency, Indonesia

Blitar is a landlock megalopolis located in East Java, Indonesia; about 73 kilometers from the City of Malang. From Jakarta, I flew to Malang for a weekday work-related exercise. Since no work during the weekend, so I had an opening to explore some sightseer lodestones in Malang and I ended up at the Coban Rondo Cataracts.

Borobudur is a 7th-century Buddhist temple compound located in the lush green forest of Kecamatan Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.  It was and the largest Buddhist temple in the world built in the 8th and 9th AD during the reign of the Sailendra Dynasty. 

I was given a break to visit one of the most celebrated temples in the world in 2018 - The Borobudur Buddhist temple; one of the so-called 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. One weekend, my itinerary is to explore the astonishing attraction in Yogyakarta known not only in Indonesia but also in the world. 

Exploring the Majestic Sedudo Waterfall in Nganjuk, Indonesia

When you find yourself in Nganjuk, Indonesia, don't miss the chance to explore its famous waterfalls, often frequented by locals and tourists alike. One weekend morning, Big Bear mountain invited me to go to see the snowfalls. Visiting the Hindu Temple in Chino Hills, California - BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir or known as Neasden Temple is an authentic Hindu temple and built entirely with traditional methods and material and was inaugurated in 1995 located in Chino Hills, California, which is in the part of San Bernardino County that borders Los Angeles County. 

One afternoon in December, we traveled from Simi valley going to Chino Hills for a temple visit, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. It's a mixture of emotions since this was my first time visiting this place and driving towards the southern part of California. 

The Las Vegas experience, USA Road Trip


From Simi Valley California we traveled to the land of Utah. Nice views and surroundings as you traverse along the massive highway. Snow-covered mountains, deserts we drove to Las Vegas. I suddenly fell asleep on that road trip, and those moments; when I woke up we were already on a way to Las Vegas. then, stop at a famous water dam to relax a bit. The place is mesmerizing, very relaxing and many tourists come here. I found out that this dam is one of the main sources of water in the city and its surroundings.

Visiting Cateel amid Pandemic - Aliwagwag Falls, Hanging bridge

After visiting the town of Lingig in Surigao Del Sur, we headed straight to Cateel in the province Davao Oriental for an hour and a half drive. Town of the famous and the highest waterfalls in the whole Philippines - the Aliwagwag Waterfall. Cateel is a 2nd class municipality located on the east coast part of Davao Oriental. It has a population of 44, 207 people according to the 2020 census. 


Visiting Tinuy-an Falls during the Covid19 period | Bislig, Surigao del Sur

The month of August,  I went back to Bislig city in Surigao de Sur from Tagum City. It was afternoon when I left Tagum City so I will definitely spend the night on the road because it is about 3 hours drive by private car. This is my first visit to Bislig City during Covid19 so the city of Bislig is in General Community Quarantine (GCQ). Checkpoints at each border are definitely strict in addition to the strict protocols and curfew hours.

Island Visit in Tubay, Agusan Del Norte

Tubay is a coastal and a fifth class municipality living 25, 785 people with more than 5, 000 represents 6.65% of Agusan del Norte’s total population,  according to the 2020 census. The named Tubay is inspired by the legendary Datu Tabay who lived in this area during the Spanish occupation in Agusan which was declared as Pueblo in 1751 and officially became an independent municipality in 1947. Today, this small town is politically divided into 13 barangays, some of these can be reached by boats. 


Visiting Lingig - Bonbon Maribuhok and group of Islands, Surigao del Sur

Lining is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Surigao del Sur in the Philippines with a land area of 305.17 square kilometers or 117.83 square miles comprising 19 barangay. According to the census 2020, the total population recorded with 35,142 people represent a 5.47% contribution to the entire province.
This small town is located in between Bislig City, around one and a half journey by Bus, and Boston town in Davao Oriental, a border town of Surigao del Sur. 

Governor Generoso; The new tourism heaven in Davao Region


Governor Generoso is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Davao Oriental and named after Sebastian T. Generoso, a former governor of the Davao Region. The total population estimates of more than 51 thousand people covering 20 barangays; Tibanban serves as a commercial center of the town.

 

The 8th century Hindu Temple of Prambanan, the 2nd largest in Southeast Asia?

Prambanan is the biggest Hindu Temple compound in Indonesia built in the ninth century and the second largest in Southeast Asia next to Anchor Wat in Cambodia. Located 17 kilometers from the northeast of Yogyakarta city, this temple was constructed during the ancient Mataram kingdom started by Rakai Pikatan in the mid-9th-century, expanded continuously by King Lokapala and  Balitung Maha Sambu, the Sanjaya king of the Mataram Kingdom
